Ben is such a little poser...and has developed a little cheesy grin! This week we bought him a bath chair as he is getting so big and wriggly that it's hard to hold him in the bath! This is a picture taken by our own professional photographer, Robin MacKinnon, after the health visitor came last week.

"He Made The Way" Launch: Cullybackey
Last night was the launch of Solid Ground's album "He Made The Way." We have followed their progress for 6 years since they have been formed. Julie's Dad sings with the group and it's always a blessing to hear them sing.
They decided last year to record a CD and the boys prayed and made the decision to donate the proceeds of the CD to our funding for Mexico. This is amazing and a real support from all the boys.
The concert was amazing, and the boys were joined by William Sayers, The Monteith Family and Kathryn Mitchell and MC's by Pastor Alan Hoey. We had a great night and felt really blessed by the people who turned up, over 250 people. God is faithful!
Gracenotes...
Last night we celebrated the album launch of Solid Ground's debut album "He Made The Way." (Their link is on the right.)
Peter McIlreavy, who owns Gracenotes Music Centre in Ballymena, came and gave us an exhibition of his store and also played some music for us. Peter & his wife are an amazing couple and have been a great encouragement to us, and it was an amazing blessing to have him there at the concert.
Please call into Gracenotes for some coffee (they do amazing Fair Trade coffee) and also to look at the instruments they stock and the full range of lessons they provide.
Tour Bus...
It is a running joke with us, Mark & Rachel and also the MacKinnon family about the Touri Buses. Everywhere we go we try to go on a Tour Bus. When we came back home to N. Ireland we found out there was one in Belfast. So we took Maddie & Robin on the Belfast City Sightseeing Bus!
It was amazing to see all the sights of Belfast...and Robin & Maddie even got an unofficial behind-the-scenes Shankill Road tour.

Church together...
High School Musical...
When we found out that Robin & Maddie were coming over we started to look through a schedule that ticked all the things they wanted to do....see Ben, chat to Julie and see some sights. While that would have been great, we decided to organise some other cool stuff to do. We then seen that High School Musical were having an ice tour on the day they arrived. So off Julie, Robin & Maddie went (it's not really Jonny and Ben's thing!) It was a great night and one of the highlights of our time together!

The Big Surprise...
The MacKinnon family serve alongside us in Mexico, and Christian is Field Director for OMS. When we arrived in Mexico last year they were our mentors, but very soon became good friends, and are now more like family.
Jonny has a great relationship with Christian, both in his work and also as good mates (as we say here in Norn Iron.) And Julie has made a a lifelong friend in Robin, and the girls really hit it off on the field and this has continued with many e-mails and phone calls back an forth.
Don't even get us started about the kids, as they are some of the nicest kids we have ever met, and children that we know Ben will love growing up with!
When we were in Mexico, we always chatted about the possibility of them coming over to spend time with our family in N. Ireland, and guess what it's going to happen!
Robin & Maddie (their oldest daughter) have arrived this morning for a week. We have organised so many exciting things for them to do (although Julie & Robin just want to sit and chat all day!)
Please pray for them, especially for Christian, Amelia, Joshua & Ethan as they remain in Mexico, and also for Robin & Maddie as they travel to N. Ireland. And pray that we have a really blessed time when they are over!

A Big Surprise...
We have something happening on the 17th January, and we are so excited about it. We have talked about this for ages and now it's finally happening. Check back to see what the big deal is!
A Weekend Away...
Every New Year we try and go away with Craig & Christine, and this year it was a bit special with it being Ben's first holiday!!
We went to a little cottage called "The Bothy" in Omagh and it was amazing. A real little rural cottage with a big open fire, it was very snug. We spent the weekend there and it was amazingly relaxing!
I'm still standing...
Our little nephew isn't so little anymore! Jackson was born while we were in Mexico and we missed him growing up for the first 4 months, but now it's amazing to be a part of his little life. These last weeks he began standing with help, then standing on his own. Craig & Christine just contacted us last night to say he had taken his first steps! He's nearly 11 months old now and he's getting big fast! We have all this to look forward to!
